Why did does Disney allow that Hannah Montana girl to dress so inappropriately?

It might, but keep in mind that what WE wore 15 years ago was “inappropriate” for the times to our parents. ANd what THEy wore as teens had the same effect on theri parents.

I highly doubt Disney has much say over how their stars dress outside of the actual program. Besides - disney isn’t exactly the “wholesome” outlet is used to be. Let’s see - Britney Spears, Christina, Justin Timberlake - all former disney!!

She’s a teenager, and wanted to dress up for the fancy awards show.
Tshirt and jeans wouldn’t be appropriate for the teens choice awards.
I understand your situation..
but keep in mind that she doesn’t drink, smoke, or cuss.
She’s a good role model for young girls. All girls want to dress up every once in a while=)
I wouldn’t complain to the network, it wasn’t their fault. I’m sure she picked out the dress herself.
Plus, it was the “Teen Choice.” It was a show mainly for preteens, and teens. She would have dressed it down a bit if the show was made for 6-10 year olds.

I know, it’s terrible and I would definately complain. The sad thing is that for some reason they think immodesty sells, but if enough people complain then maybe they’ll get the picture!

Even though i do agree that someone that is young shouldn’t dress inappropriatley(i didnt see the teenchoice) it is TEEN CHOICE not childrens choice and believe me some dress far worse then she probably did

Give me a break. Miley doesn’t dress even a quarter as bad as other pop stars. I think she’s a good influence.

she is 14 or so not 9. You teach your child how to dress appropriately according to you and accept that everyone has different ideas to you. I am not into dressing my daughter revealingly but I do not expect others to do the same. That is the thing of living in a country that allows free will
